Francisco Javier Ramirez (b. Mexico City) is a New York–based interdisciplinary visual artist working across image-based media, painting, and book arts. He examines popular culture, myth, and the construction of identity through an interdisciplinary practice. He approaches unbecoming and transformation as both subject and method, positioning them as ongoing aesthetic and political strategies.

He holds an MFA from Columbia University (2026) and has exhibited internationally at Print Center New York, White Columns, The Wallach Art Gallery, the LeRoy Neiman Gallery, Museo de la Ciudad de Querétaro, and The Blanc, among others. He is a recipient of the William Talbott Hillman Fellowship, the Edward Schwartz Research Grant, and the New York Latin American Art Triennial Artist Residency. His artist books are held in the collections of Columbia University's Rare Book & Manuscript Library, and Centro de la Imagen. He was a finalist for the FELIFA Premio Publicación Latinoamericano and has participated in major print and art book fairs including ZONA MACO, Printed Matter's LA Art Book Fair, and La Feria from NYU Latinx Project.
